We're hoping to build on that momentum," says Linda Freer, Alpha Aviation's manager of marketing and business development.
"The whole air show is dedicated to our Canadian forces, past and present military," Freer
"We want to make sure the public remembers those who made such a personal sacrifice for peacekeeping and for war times."
Those who attend will have a chance to write a note to Canadian forces personnel, Freer
says, noting local air cadets will be handing out letter templates at their booth during the air show.
The hope is that 1,000 letters will be written, she
says, to let personnel "know they're appreciated" and "they're in our thoughts."
