Linda M. DeGraffenreidClinic Instructor Linda DeGraffenreid
has played a key role in developing companies into multimillion dollar operations since becoming involved in government contracting in 1976.Following a career as a journalist and award-winning writer, Linda
entered the field of government contracting.During the last 25 years her positions have included Vice President of Contract Administration, Vice President of Business Development, and Vice President of Operations for several Washington, D.C., area consulting firms.Linda was Vice President of TASCON, Inc., when the firm was named Small Business of the Year by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
As an independent consultant for five years, she
now focuses on helping firms develop long-range strategic plans, devise capture planning strategies, and write winning proposals, including GSA schedule applications.Linda
also provides training in the areas of contract management, risk mitigation, and communication.She
is a 15-year member and former officer of the Bethesda/Medical chapter of the National Contract Management Association
.She has a Bachelor's Degree in English and has completed the coursework for her Master's.She
has won awards for her
writing from the International Association of Business Communicators and the National Federation of Press Women
.Linda is also the Owner of Effective Communication.
