Linda M. Cundiff, RN, MSN
Linda Cundiff is the Senior Director of Community Affairs, Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA).
For many years she has been responsible for the administration of community-based health services and the development and support of community coalitions for community health improvement.
In this role she
has developed partnerships with many organizations and community leaders that work with at-risk residents that Cambridge Health Alliance
is dedicated to serving, especially the low-income, immigrant, uninsured and homeless populations.
She oversees preventive health education and outreach programs for these groups- these address access to health care, chronic disease prevention, HIV/AIDS, family planning, women's health, tobacco, domestic violence, healthcare for the homeless, mental health and substance abuse.
has longed developed and supported these services to be culturally appropriate for Haitian residents, and partnered with the Haitian Coalition of Somerville
after the earthquake to develop community and school based mental health responses and also joined them on a medical mission to Haiti in 2011.
visited Haiti again in 2013 as part of the planning team for Cambridge's developing sister-city relationship with Les Cayes.
Ms. Cundiff has had over forty years of community health experience as a clinician and administrator.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from Boston University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College where she was prepared as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a public health and leadership focus.
