Lily Zhang Li Taylor
Lily is a dancer, artist and actress from Beijing,China now residing in Shawnee Kansas.
She was a past member of the Chinese Dancers Association and the Beijing Calligraphy and Fine Arts Association.

own style that is not quite traditional, but similar and very unique.
is a self taught artist who has been painting for about 20 years.

chinese name of Zhang Li, (pronounced jong lee).
most famous, "Praise of Bamboo", is a dance approximately seven minutes long during which she
completes an ink painting of bamboo.
She is the only performer known to do such a dance anywhere in the world.

other watercolors have been hung in both public and private collections around the globe, such as the Soviet State Gallery
in Moscow, the Presidential Gallery
in Egypt, the private collections of the rulers of Kuwait and Malaysia.

first started selling her
paintings in the Pike Place Public Market in Seattle Washington, where she
had customers from all over the US and Europe.
