Leon Glebov got his Ph.D. in Physics (major in Optics) from State Optical Institute, Leningrad, Russia (1976).He is a Research Professor at College of Optics and Photonics/CREOL at the University of Central Florida and a co-founder of OptiGrate (Light Processing and Technologies, Inc.).He has published a book and more than 250 papers in scientific journals and holds a number of patents.He is a member of Organizing and Program Committees for a number of International Conferences.The main directions of his research are optical properties of glasses including nonlinear phenomena, photosensitive glasses for hologram recording, holographic optical elements, and lasers with volume Bragg external resonator.
