was one of the founding members of the team in Atlanta that developed a major IBM software product for manufacturers (MAPICS).He published several technical articles on production scheduling and plant floor operations before retiring from IBM in 1997.In 2000 he entered full time college teaching with an appointment to the Faculty of Business at the University of Jordan (Amman, Jordan) teaching Production Operations Management and Management Information Systems to both graduate and undergraduate students.He holds a BA degree in Economics from Yale University and an MBA degree in International Business from the Wharton Business School.He is also retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
