Leon R. Fulton
Each decade brought Leon Fulton
a new level of success.
In the 50s he served in the United States Air Force, co-founded the Republic National Bank of Louisiana and the Bayou Federal Savings and Loan Association.
He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dillard University with graduate studies at Tulane University and Southern University.
Fulton earned a masters degree at the University of New Orleans and dedicated his career to education as a teacher and assistant principal of the New Orleans public school system.
As the 60s spawned a new decade, so did a new business with Fulton
, Johnson, Newman and Pittman Insurance Agency, Inc.
Today he is chairman and CEO of the agency and serves on the board of directors with many New Orleans foundations along with a member of the Advisory Board of Entergy of New Orleans, the Urban League of New Orleans and Southern University of New Orleans Business and Industry Foundation.
