As a Hollywood executive, Ms. Evans was at the time, the youngest member ever appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Women in Film Foundation, The American Film Institute Associates, The League of Women Voters Education Fund, The Family Assistance Program, LA's BEST (Better Educated Students for Tomorrow), and The Motion Picture Export Association of America.
She also served on the Advisory Board of POST/LA Expo, was a Co-Chair of the Hollywood Film Festival, and was a member of the American Film Institute Third Decade Council.

Ms. Evans is a member of the Board of Rady Children's Hospital Rancho Santa Fe Auxiliary, for which she has Chaired the annual "Celebration of Champions" event since 2008.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of ArtReach San Diego, the Advisory Board of the San Diego Master Chorale, and Steering Committee for The Old Globe Theatre Guilders.
