A gentle and humble man, "Reverend Aaron" was affectionately known throughout the City of El Dorado and beyond.
He was an ordained elder and pastor of two churches: Holy Ghost Love Headquarters COGIC, Smackover, Arkansas and Holy El Bethel COGIC, Bearden, Arkansas for over 50 years. He was appointed to the post of Superintendent for the Tribe of Aaron District of the Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Arkansas under the leadership of Jurisdictional Prelate, the late Bishop R. E. Matheney in 2008. For a number of years, while pastoring both churches, he was also employed full-time by El Dorado Water Utilities until his retirement. He was also a founding board member of A.F.R.I.C.A., Inc. - American Families Real In Christ Association, Inc.
