Leigh Ann GriffinLeigh Ann started golf at the age of 14.As an active junior player, she competed in several national junior tournaments.She went on to receive a golf scholarship at Kent State University where she graduated with a degree in Sport Management.Her playing career included participating in the 1999 U.S. Amateur tournament, the 2001 NCAA Championship and in the 2001 Columbus Open where she was medallist with a low round score of 66.
...During the last three years, Leigh Ann has gained valuable experience teaching as an instructor at the Jim McLean Golf School, at PGA West, in La Quinta, California.
During the summer, Leigh Ann
can be found teaching the members at prestigious Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Westchester, New York.Currently, Leigh Ann is a member of the LPGA Teaching Division and divides her time with work and pleasure between Palm Springs, California and New York.
