LEE GALLUP LEE GALLUP Lee was nominated for Fanny Awards for all three plays and won the Best Actress Award for the Wife of Bath in "Canterbury Tales." NOW Lee is a classically trained actress receiving her Ph.D. in Theatre from the University of Denver. She formed the first improvisational theatre company in Denver called Lee Gallup Gives You the Works. Dr. Gallup has taught at the University of Illinois (Urbana Campus), Colorado Women's College, and Loretto Heights College where she was an Associate Professor of Theatre until the college's demise. She has been an instructor of acting at the Arvada Center continuously since 1976, with adjunct instructor status at Metropolitan Stage College (teaching there for 5 years), and Red Rocks Community College. Lee has directed for the Arvada Center, The Evergreen Chorale, the Shwayder Theatre, Kent-Denver, The University of Northern Colorado, and the May Bonfils Center for the Performing Arts at Loretto Heights College, among others. She has conducted acting workshops at numerous area schools, in Aspen and Colorado Springs, and at theatre conferences. For many years Lee has served on the boards of the Denver Council for the Arts and Humanities, and the Colorado Alliance of Stage Theatres (CAST). She was named one of Colorado's Outstanding Women in the Performing Arts by Network Magazine and is cited in Who's Who in Entertainment, Who'sWho in the West, and Who's Who in America. Lee is also a playwright and teaches private acting classes. Throughout her career, Lee has won several best acting awards and continues to do voice-overs and commercials.

LEE GALLUPholds a Ph.D. in Improvisational Theater from the University of Denver.She is a classically trained actress and director, having directed at the Arvada Center, the Evergreen Chorale, and many other area theaters, where she has also served as dialects coach.She was an Associate Professor of Theater at Loretto Heights College until its demise and has taught classes at the Arvada Center since 1976.She currently teaches acting at Metropolitan State College.She was named one of Colorado's outstanding women in the Performing Arts by Network magazine and is cited in Who's Who in the West and in Who's Who in Entertainment.She also does private coaching.She is considered one of Colorado's best acting teachers.
