Lee is a classically trained actress receiving her Ph.D. in Theatre from the University of Denver.
formed the first improvisational theatre company in Denver called Lee Gallup Gives You the Works.
Dr. Gallup has taught at the University of Illinois (Urbana Campus), Colorado Women's College, and Loretto Heights College where she was an Associate Professor of Theatre until the college's demise.
She has been an instructor of acting at the Arvada Center continuously since 1976, with adjunct instructor status at Metropolitan Stage College (teaching there for 5 years), and Red Rocks Community College.
