Having successfully commercialised a number of polystyrene-based pallet products Laurence
identified the reliance upon the use of nonrenewable, finite resources and regulatory changes were forcing the pallet industry to find alternative raw materials and systems that must be environmentally acceptable and safe.
In early 2007, Laurence
set out to investigate, conceive and develop a completely renewable clean, green product, which had the potential to revolutionise the export pallet industry globally.
Over the course of the next 2 years, various methods and materials were investigated for the production of alternative products.
