Our thanks to East Grinstead for once again putting on a wonderful gala, thanks to all parents who helped out on the evening in particular Heidi Alland and Sharon Royston for running the recorders desk and to Junior Captains Lauren Warner and Matt Dutton ably assisted by Adam Sums.

Sports -- Georgetown Splits Last Two Matches of Season
In the final game of her Georgetown career, senior outside hitter and captain Lauren Warner led the Hoyas one last time.She posted seven digs and a match-high 19 kills.
finished with 486 kills to lead the Big East and also was seventh in service aces with 39.
While the Hoyas will play next year without Warner
and Kleinsorge, two current juniors, Jen Ward and Molly Healy, have plenty of collegiate experience under their belts to compensate for the loss of their teammates.
Sports -- Hoyas Pick Up a Pair of Big East Victories
Senior outside hitter and captain Lauren Warner guided her team to victory, tallying seven digs, a match-high 17 kills and a team-high seven blocks.
Sophomore middle blocker Sara Albert tied Warner
with a match-high seven blocks, also contributing two digs and four kills.
On Senior Day, the Hoyas were fittingly led to victory on the strength of strong performances from their two seniors, Kleinsorge and Warner
last home game with three blocks, eight digs and tying a match-high four service aces.
The Friars, who have yet to win a Big East match, showed little evidence of a rally at any point in the three games.Georgetown

Senior outside hitter and captain Lauren Warner led the Hoyas with 15 kills, 12 digs and three blocks, posting her 10th double-double of this season.Warner commented, "We improved our focus overall and came up with big plays at crucial times, which we lacked against Virginia Tech."
repeated yet another excellent performance, posting a match-high 24 kills and 10 digs, her
11th double-double of the season.
Sports -- Patriots Shut Out Hoyas
Senior outside hitter Lauren Warner kept Georgetown alive before eventually falling 32-34.Warner, the team's captain, played another outstanding game, posting 21 kills, tying the match-high with Pereira.She
also had 10 digs, two blocks and an ace.
Despite the loss, Warner
remains optimistic."We fought well, played really intensely," she
said."We came up with a lot of big plays, and I hope that it carries over into the weekend."
Next up, the Hoyas will resume Big East action, playing host to Virginia Tech
this Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. and Miami on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.
