has since trained numerous people to implement SL-IEPs and developed many technical assistance, training, assessment, and promotional products for SL-IEPs.Dr. Love helped to form and served as chairperson for the Arizona Student-led IEP Advisory Council.Dr. Love has more than 23 years of professional experience in the fields of rehabilitation and special education, with 20 years of grants management and administration experience in Arizona.She was written and received several grants from the U.S. Department of Education and serves as a peer reviewer for grant competitions sponsored by OSERS.She
has been a frequent presenter at conferences since 1990.In Arizona, Dr. Love has previously served as Director of Special Services for the Osborn (Elementary) School District in Phoenix; Principal Director of the InterAct Arizona State Systems for Transition Services for Youth with Disabilities project (Arizona's OSERS-funded Transition Systems Change grant) for Arizona State University West; Education Program Specialist in transition services for the Arizona Department of Education's Exceptional Student Services in Phoenix; Career/Vocational Planning Instructor and Vocational Specialist for the Scottsdale Unified School District in Scottsdale; and Habilitation Program Planner for The Centers for Habilitation in Tempe.She has served on the Arizona State Rehabilitation Council, the Board of Directors for RAISING Special Kids, and the Executive Board for the Council for Exceptional Children's Division on Career Development and Transition.Dr. Love earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University.She earned a Bachelor of Psychology degree and a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Personal Services from the University of Missouri - Columbia.She
has completed training in group facilitation methods through the Institute on Cultural Affairs.
