BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Nov. 6, 2007 - Laura Grantham, RN, MSN, APRN-BC, has been promoted to Director of Nursing Practice for Patient Care Services at Southeast Georgia Health System.
Grantham has been with the Health System on the Brunswick Campus since 1991 serving in a wide variety of clinical areas.
Most recently she was a member of the PRN Pool and relief House Manager while maintaining a full time position on the nursing faculty of the Coastal Georgia Community College Nursing Program.
brings to her
new position a wealth of nursing experience and knowledge in medical/surgical nursing, pediatrics, emergency nursing, and critical care.
She received a Master's degree in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
"Laura is a tremendous asset to the Health System and I'm excited to have her in this new role," says Ellen Hamilton, RN, vice president over Patient Care Services.
Grantham was certified as an adult nurse practitioner in 2004, and holds certifications in basic life support, advanced life support, pediatric advanced life support, trauma nursing, and critical care nursing.
Grantham also severed in the United States Army Reserve were she was a basic cardiac life support (BCLS) instructor and a combat lifesaver.
