Larry B. Quick, co-founder of Life Pieces To Masterpieces, created our signature style of art featuring multiple layers of canvas sewn together, colored and or textured with acrylic paints.
The art form was inspired by his grandmother's hobby of creating patchwork quilts to capture stories about her life. Larry began using this technique to bring together different pieces of his life experiences -- some very painful, personal ones and others that were happier memories. Learn More About Our Art Process Turning Life Challenges Into Possibilities Through the act of combining his innate creative abilities with his thoughts, words, and actions, Larry found he could rearrange his life experiences in a way that created a masterpiece. He shared his passion and his unique artistic style with the seven young men that were part of the first class of Life Pieces To Masterpieces.
