worked on a team that developed a new transmission technology for long distance communications.In 1977 , Dr. Hinderks
own successful high-tech venture known as CCS ( Musicam USA ) specializing in software development and digital audio compression.CCS became the international leader in audio compression equipment for the professional market.CCS also provided the audio encoding technology for DirecTV.In 1995 , StarGuide Digital Networks acquired his company and appointed Dr. Hinderks Chief Technology Officer
.He participated in StarGuide's New Business Development team , which created CoolCast
.He has also served on the IP Multicasting Advisory Board of the IP Multicast Initiative and is a member of IEEE and AES
holds a number of patents and pending patents related to transmission , digital audio compression , IP multicast , and Internet audio and video distribution.Dr. Hinderks received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Kansas in 1970
