With Kents Hill trailing 2-0 at the end of the first period at Hebron on Saturday, Coach Larry Cockrell told his charges that they would have to play better in all areas of the ice; they did.  After being outshot by the Lumberjacks 16-9 in the first, the Huskies came back in the second and not only outshot Hebron 14-8, but played better in the defensive and neutral zones as well.  The result was that Kents Hill took a 3-2 lead into the second intermission. At that point the Huskies ran out of gas and as a result Bridgton scored the next four goals over a period and a half taking a 5-2 lead with fifteen minutes to go in the game.  After Coach Larry Cockrell called a time out and told the team to "Get it going!," the Huskies did.  Less than two minutes after the time out, Ryan Caswell took a pass from Carson Johnstone to make it 5-3.  The home fans let out a roar when Jared Cockrell scored on a beautiful rebound shot a couple of minutes later, but the best was yet to come.  With just over three minutes left Johnstone took a pass from Filip Akermark and tied the score at 5.
In the second, which Kents Hill Coach Larry Cockrell characterized as "sloppy," NSA scored two minutes in and then followed that goal up with another at the eight minute mark taking a 5-2 lead.  However, by the end of the second the Huskies fought back to make it 5-4 on goals from Filip Akermark, with assists going to Devin Murray and Dufour.   With two minutes to go in the period, Logan Day closed out the scoring on an end to end unassisted goal.
On Saturday, Kents Hill beat Hoosac School 5-1 in what coach Larry Cockrell described as the team's "best game of the season, so far."  The Huskies took a 4-0 lead into the third and put the game away when Jared Cockrell scored the fifth goal five minutes into the third.  Cockrell opened the scoring in the first with assists going to Rikard Keussen and Filip Akermark.  Mark Dufour made it 2-0, also in the first, on passes from Ryan Caswell and Devin Murray.  Drew Sommerhoff and Keussen scored in the second, with assists going to Mathieu Boisvert, Brandon Bourgeois and Cockrell.  Nick Devine had 20 saves for the Huskies.

Later on Saturday, the Huskies took on Rice Academy (Burlington, VT) and lost 5-4 in what Coach Larry Cockrell characterized as a "sloppy game."  Rice scored three times in the first period to take a 3-1 lead.
The Huskies finally came alive in the third when Dufour took a pass from Keussen and beat the Rice goalie Marotte Francis with a nice deke.  A minute later, Croon scored, with assists going to Cockrell and Day, to make it 4-3.  Two minutes later, Rice scored again.  However, the Huskies weren't done yet.  With two minutes left in the game, Dufour scored his second goal of the game with assists going to Day and Keussen.  Despite several good chances late in the game, Kents Hill could not push the tying goal across.
On Sunday afternoon, Kents Hill beat Hoosac School, 3-0, in the only league game of the weekend.  Cockrell scored twice with assists from Day, Fizer and Croon, while Day had one with assists from Cockrell and Senior Filip Akermark for the Huskies.
