A native of California, Larry graduated from Biola University with a degree in Biblical Studies.
He received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the Professional School of Psychological Studies.
He also attended Peninsula Bible Church's Scribe School, a graduate level program with an emphasis in the development of sound biblical exegetical skills and practical ministry experience.
Larry has served as a pastor in his home of California and in Oregon.
He presently teaches at his home church and the McKenzie Study Center where he serves as an associate staff member.
teaching focuses on the gospel and its relationship to intellectual and emotional health and personal responsibility.
Larry has been a counselor for the past eighteen years.
He is a licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist in California, and provides pastoral counseling as well..
and his wife Christine have a private practice in Eugene, Oregon.

In addition for his
passion for basketball, Larry
is an avid white-water rafter.
