Authorities say Grill then grabbed an officer's stun gun and pointed it at officers, prompting 31-year-old Deputy Lanie Delong to shoot Grill in the abdomen.
Grill was treated at a hospital and released. Authorities say Grill has been in the U.S. since August 2008 and lived in New York before Boulder. Delong has been with the sheriff's office for more than four years.
