Over the past two decades Lance Tyson
has continually elevated his
entrepreneurial skill and spirit in a variety of industries, always returning though to his
passion of developing strong business leaders.
As President and CEO of PRSPX, Tyson is a facilitator, trainer & conductor of over one hundred workshops annually in areas such as performance management, leadership, sales, sales management, customer service and team building.
A native, of Pennsylvania, Tyson put himself through Penn State while waiting on tables and working for Bechtel Corporation.
Realizing that he
preferred working for himself, he
formed an import/export business soon after his
days in State College were over.
After the success of building his
own company, he
had a gift for sales, public speaking and training.
His energy, work ethic and drive made him one of the most successful trainers and sales representatives in a world-renowned training organization.
Lance successfully led the Dale Carnegie franchise in the Philadelphia region in sales and business operations.
Looking for a new challenge, Tyson
moved to Ohio in 2002 to build out the Midwest region for Dale Carnegie Training.
By 2007, Lance
had built the most successful Dale Carnegie operation in North America; operating the marketplaces in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Indianapolis.
In the ensuing years, Lance transitioned from trainer, to partner, to key business advisor for such clients as Steris, Cleveland Cavaliers, Columbus Blue Jackets, BMW Financial Services and McGohan Brabender.
In 2010, Lance sold his interest in Dale Carnegie & Associates to form a new company, PRSPX.
The main focus of PRSPX
is to help each client build an efficient Sales Eco-system - through Sales Intelligence, Demand Generation and Sales Acceleration.
That same year, Lance
formed an alliance in the pro-sports industry with the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys, under Legends Hospitality Management.
delivers Sales Training in pro-sports through Legends to some of the most notable franchises in pro-sports - NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49er's, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Red Wings, NJ Nets, Orlando Magic, San Diego Padres, Phoenix Suns and The Rose Bowl, to name a few.
Also in 2010, PRSPX
partnered with McGohan Brabender, one of the five largest independent employee benefits brokerage and communications firms in the country.
In addition to Demand Generation services, Lance
also provides McGohan Brabender with Sales Management oversight and regular sales training for their Producers.
Due in part to the strength of PRSPX's relationship with McGohan Brabender, Lance
was able to grow the business to include a number of clients in the Insurance and Property & Casualty industries.
With Lance's vision, PRSPX
has become a leader in Sales Intelligence, Demand Generation and Sales Acceleration.
is actively involved in Columbus Youth Hockey and volunteers regularly for his
sons' school activities.
Tyson is also actively involved in his Church and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus.
