Lance Miller Co-Owner 717.243.7855 x115

Lance is the son of Chip Miller, co-founder of Carlisle Events, who in the early ‘70s formed Carlisle Events with his good friend Bill Miller, Jr. (no relation).
Lance began running the Corvette show after the passing of his father Chip from a rare disease called Amyloidosis.
Lance was born in York, Pennsylvania in 1972. He literally grew up at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. To quote him, “I’ve done everything from cutting grass to garbage patrol to event management. There really is nothing in this business that I haven’t done. Lance was raised in an automotive environment from the time he was born.
After college, Lance returned to Carlisle Events for several years before venturing out on his own. He founded Web Mods, a successful web design company in Ocean City, New Jersey. When his father passed away in March of 2004, Lance returned to Carlisle Events as the Event Manager of Corvettes at Carlisle. In January 2007, Bill Miller, Jr. announced that the next generation of the two Miller families, Lance and Bill Jr’s son Bill III, were going to carry on the tradition of operating Carlisle Events at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.
In 2009 Lance purchased his mother’s share of Carlisle Events to become 50% partners with Bill Miller Jr.
Lance graduated from Northwood University in Palm Beach, Florida in 1996. He has a degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Personal Lance is happily married to his wife, Michele, who have a daughter named Ella “Corvette Miller. Lance is also the President of the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation along with being on the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce board of Directors.
Hobbies In addition to his Co-Owner responsibilities, Lance serves as Vice-President of the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation and strives to help various charities throughout the year. In 2010 Lance followed through with his father’s dream of having one of his father’s beloved racing Corvettes taken back to Le Mans.
Jodi serves as the “right hand man to Bill Miller, Jr., Bill Miller, III and Lance Miller.
With Bill and Lance Miller at the helm of the company, it feels much more like a family atmosphere and that, combined with the great people I’ve met over the years make Carlisle Events a great place to be.

Lance, Chip's son, is a "chip off the old block. They were the best of friends sharing similar passions such as Corvettes, racing, cars and the beach. Lance grew up in Ocean City, NJ surfing as much as the waves would allow and traveling with the National Scholastic Surfing Association Team (NSSA) to places such as Hawaii, Brazil, and California. After his father's passing, Lance returned to Carlisle, PA to take over where his dad left off with Carlisle Events, a collector car and truck promotion company in Carlisle, PA. "I'm happy to help my father continue his legacy by helping others through our foundation.
Nick is a childhood friend of Lance and was extremely close with Chip where they enjoyed surfing and hanging out together in Ocean City, NJ. Today, Nick lives in Marmora, NJ with his fiancee Lizzy.
Michael met Lance Miller during a Corvettes For A Cure in 2006.

The waves were perfect for the contestants and the weather was a superior summer day. Miller continues, “On behalf of the CMCF board and my family, I'd like to take a minute to thank the contestants, the sponsors, the volunteers, those that donated to the cause and the City of Ocean City for their support.
