FBI | Catherine Coulter Romance Suspense Thriller author book series

FBI agents Savich and Sherlock must discover who is trying to murder eighty-six-year-old Venus Rasmussen, a powerful, wealthy society icon.
Savich and Sherlock must peel away the layers to uncover the incredible truth about who would target Venus. The next high-octane thriller in the FBI series featuring Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock from # 1 New York Times-bestselling author Catherine Coulter. When Special Agent Lacey Sherlock foils a terrorist attack at JFK airport, she thinks her job is done and turns the reins over to the New York FBI. But stopping the grenade-carrying crazy was only the beginning. Another plot unfolds nearly simultaneously with a bomb at St. Patrick's Cathedral. The terrorist at JFK refuses to speak to anyone but Sherlock. She heads back with counterterrorist Special Agent Cal McLain to try to get him to talk. Savich and Sherlock (The Maze) as well as MAX, the transvestite laptop, return to assist. Savich and his wife and fellow agent, Lacey Sherlock, discover that four paintings left to Lily by her very famous grandmother, artist Sarah Elliott, paintings now worth millions, are at the heart of an intricate conspiracy. When Father Michael Joseph is viciously murdered in his San Francisco church, his identical twin brother, FBI agent Dane Carver, along with husband-and-wife team, Savich and Sherlock, is determined to find the monster responsible. In a cat-and-mouse chase that runs from the streets of San Francisco to the television studios of Los Angeles, where a brand-new show is found to have a curious connection to the murders, Dane Carver, Savich and Sherlock are in a race against time to find the madman responsible-but it's already the eleventh hour. Savich and Sherlock are in top form, and Agent Dane Carver is smart, ruthless, determined. As if the kidnapping case weren't enough, Savich and Sherlock are at the same time desperate to find the cold-blooded killer of three high school math teachers in the Washington, D.C., area. A long weekend in the Poconos is cut short when FBI agents Sherlock and Savich are helicoptered back to Washington, D.C., to lead the investigation into the brutal murder of a Supreme Court Justice. Savich and Sherlock are up against it this time, following leads that seem impossible to connect to the madness. They are led to Arlington National Cemetery, where they not only find Pinky, but Savich also takes a fateful call on his cell from an old man out to kill both him and Sherlock. Once in San Francisco, Dix and Cheney's paths cross, brought together by FBI Special Agents Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock. In Washington, D.C., FBI special agents Savich and Sherlock are eating breakfast with their son Sean when Savich's boss, Jimmy Maitland, calls with the news that Jack radioed in a mayday in the mountains near Parlow, Kentucky. When Savich and Sherlock arrive, they find Jack and Rachael in the Parlow clinic and Dr. MacLean comatose in the Franklin County Hospital, prognosis unknown. It is up to Jack, Savich and Sherlock to find out who is behind the murder attempts, and keep Timothy alive. Savich and Sherlock go to Connecticut to help Agent Bowie Richards with the investigation. While Griffin is trying to find out what's going down in Maestro, Savich and Sherlock have their hands full when the grandson of former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank is found dead, his body frozen, at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial, every bone in his body broken. Meanwhile someone is following Sherlock. A stalker? Then someone tries to shoot her from the back of a motorcycle, but the assailant gets away. Sherlock next gets a call from an Atlanta mental hospital warning her that Blessed Backman has escaped. Eleventh Hour-In this "fast-paced" (Booklist) novel, agents Lacey Sherlock and Dillon Savich take a personal interest in an investigation when a fellow agent's twin brother-a priest-is brutally murdered in his San Francisco church. Blindside-"Twisted villains...[and] intriguing escapism" (Lansing [MI] State Journal) lure readers into a case that pits Sherlock and Savich against a charismatic evangelist and his wife, who are involved in the kidnapping of a six-year-old boy.

#1 New York Times-bestselling author Catherine Coulter returns with the newest full-throttle adventure in the FBI series featuring Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock.
Meanwhile someone is following Sherlock. A stalker? Then someone tries to shoot her from the back of a motorcycle, but the assailant gets away. Sherlock next gets a call from an Atlanta mental hospital warning her that Blessed Backman has escaped. Meanwhile Sherlock is a target herself. Sherlock finds out after the first attempt that Blessed Backman has escaped from the mental hospital. Sherlock is a special target for him as his dying mother begged him to kill Sherlock. I am a big fan of the FBI series with Sherlock and Savich. I loved the first few books where Savich and Sherlock were the focus. While they try to figure that out, Savich and Sherlock are being stalked by a killer they put away in a previous book. As far as I was concerned, there was never any doubt about whether they'd catch him or whether Savich or Sherlock would sustain any serious injury. The other plot centered on a criminal who Savitch and Sherlock had dealt with in a previous book. Here we have the reverse, an American couple, Savich and Sherlock, working with the FBI trying to keep a diplomat and her family from being killed. I love the books about Savich and Sherlock. Not only do they have to deal with Natalie but someone is out get to Sherlock. Some women love it when their husbands look out for them but Sherlock is determined to find who her stalker is. I mean I loved seeing Sherlock and Savich and how far they have come from the last one yet felt there was something missing in this book. I need to catch up on Savich and Sherlock. As always, I look forward to reading the adventures of Dillon and Sherlock. I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next chapter of Dillon and Sherlock. I always enjoy reading what cases Sherlock and Savage get involved in and I never expect how they will end. I'm such a fan of Savich and Sherlock, but this book is a bit slow in the beginning. The subplots, the attacks on Savich and Sherlock by Blessed Backman and the harassment and attack against Natalie's daughter Perry, seemed almost like filler. Another exciting adventure for Savich and Sherlock.
