INDEPENDENCE - LaDonna Fern Garman, 74, of Independence died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at Mercy Hospital.
She was born Oct. 24, 1931, at Independence to Edward H. and Grace Opal (Kimball) Kettleman.She attended Independence schools and graduated from Independence High School.
She began work at H.D. Lee Co. in Cherryvale.She worked for a time at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons.She worked for Automotive Controls Corp. for more than 23 years, retiring in 1995.
She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dewlin-Dix Post 1186, Ladies Auxiliary.
She married Floyd J. Garman on June 7, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark.He survives of the home.
