L. James Wilson
practice is concentrated in the area of business law and estate planning and probate practice.He
has represented many clients in the purchase and sale of closely held businesses.He
has been particularly active in working with clients in sophisticated estate planning and arrangements for devolving family wealth to future generations. Wilson is a member of the probate and trust law; corporation, finance and business law; and taxation sections of the Oakland County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and American Bar Association.He
has been elected to membership in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys
. Wilson began the practice of law with the firm of Clark, Klein & Beaumont in 1980.He joined the firm of Buesser, Buesser, Snyder and Blank in 1984, was a partner in that firm and in its successors, most recently Buesser, Black, Lynch, Fryhoff, Graham & Wilson, P.C. and came to Meyer, Kirk, Snyder & Lynch PLLC as a partner in March 2000. Wilson
has been active in a variety of community, civic, church related and charitable organizations.
