Her first Margolis Method class, taught by Kym Longhi, forever transformed her understanding of theater. She eventually relocated to Highland, NY in 2008 to train full time and became certified in 2011. She helped create the company's latest production Pulling Strings and assisted Kari at the Kennedy Center ACTF in 2012. She currently resides in Astoria, NY where she is part of the crew of the Off Broadway show Fuerza Bruta and is excited to be a part of Margolis Method's Actor Training Revolution!

Kym Longhi Kym is a multidisciplinary artist who has cultivated her artistic vision through eighteen years of work in the theater: performing, directing and writing. Her performing experience encompasses classical theater, experimental theater, mime and dance. Kym began her career as a company member with Actors Lab Arizona, and worked extensively with their touring and artist-in-the-schools programs. Kym pursued intensive acting training with Kari Margolis for over ten years and now teaches at the Margolis Method Center, the University of Minnesota and at residencies.

As a featured performer with Margolis Brown ADAPTORS Company, Ms Longhi has participated in the development of THE BED EXPERIMENT, THE HUMAN SHOW, VANISHING POINT, VIDPIRES! and STARRY MESSENGER. She is active in the Twin Cities vibrant theatre community as an actor and director with recent projects including CORIOLANUS (Flaneur Productions) and BORDER CROSSING (Off-Leash Area).

Kym Longhi

Kym has cultivated her skills in artistic midwifery through her work as an actor, theater-maker and director for nearly three decades. Her passion is devised collaborative work that merges media and disciplines to create unique theatrical experiences. As a core member of Margolis Brown Adaptors' performing ensemble since 1993, she collaborated in the creation of many of their original works including: Vanishing Point, Vidpires!, Starry Messenger at Children's Theatre Company, Sleepwalkers, American Safari and The Human Show. Kym has also worked as a performer/collaborator with Off-Leash Area, Skewed Visions and Flaneur Productions.
