WHY ARE YOU MORE QUALIFIED THAN YOUR OPPONENT ( S ) TO HOLD THIS OFFICE.
I am qualified to hold this office because I will bring a fresh new approach to obtaining full civil rights for this city.Included in a pledge I take every morning is that I will struggle without fail until we have built a better condition than man has yet known.I pledge to love my brothers and sisters as myself , to steal nothing from a brother or sister , cheat no brother or sister , misuse no brother or sister , inform on no brother or sister and spread no gossip ; to be patient and uplifting with the deaf , dumb and blind , and seek by word and deed to heal the black family , who more than any other needs healing.I believe a moral nation is one in which the truth is taught in our schools and homes , even if it means total change of curriculum , custom , and relationships. And along with my Party , we will pursue voter education , health care , black business development and support , reparations and affordable housing for all residents of this magnificent city. And I bring to this office the spirit of my people's hundreds of years of struggle for freedom..
