Kristin B. Thompson
Kristin Thompson serves as TMA's Director of Communication,and brings
over twenty-five years of experience in business management, financial
development, campaign management, conference management, and
editorial and writing services to meet the needs of client associations
As an experienced speechwriter, editor, and public relations manager in
both the public and private sectors, Ms. Thompson
leadership and publications management for client newsletters,
publications and marketing materials.
Ms. Thompson received her AB Degree in Government from Wheaton
College (Massachusetts), and has taken graduate courses in Not-for-
Administration at the University of Maryland
In addition to over twelve years of experience in political campaign management, she has also served as Accounting Office Supervisor for WGBH Educational Foundation, the Boston affiliate of the Public Broadcasting Service.
Most recently, Ms. Thompson served in a variety of positions for the Maryland Department of Legislative Reference, in support of the state legislature, where she managed the writing and production of daily bill synopses.
coordinated the International and Educational Programs Services for the Maryland General Assembly, arranging and conducting educational programs for international visitors
, adults, and student groups visiting Maryland's state capital.
