Kristin Martinez is an experienced early-stage investor and entrepreneur with a strong energy background.
She has over 25 years of experience in new venture creation and financing, strategic planning, operations and corporate finance.
She has spent the past 15 years working with new ventures as a founder, start-up CFO, mentor, investor, director and advisor.
Kristin began her energy career in the electric utility industry, focusing on finance and energy efficiency.
She was a founder, COO and Treasurer of Pepco Energy Services, Inc., an unregulated spinout from Potomac Electric Power Company (now Pepco Holdings, Inc.), and a provider of a wide range of energy services for large commercial and government customers.

Most recently, Kristin was a founder, director and CFO of biotech startup Acoustic Cytometry Systems, Inc., in Los Alamos, NM, an angel-funded company that was acquired in October, 2008.
