SHB Partners Bill Martucci, Carrie McAtee and Kristen Page have contributed chapters to the third edition of Global Legal Group's International Comparative Legal Guide to: Employment and Labour Law 2013.
Titled "High-Stakes EEOC Class Action Litigation in America," the general chapter authored by Martucci and Page
focuses on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's decision to prioritize the investigation and litigation of systemic cases "'where the alleged discrimination has a broad impact on an industry, profession, company or geographic area.'" Martucci and McAtee also authored the guide's "USA" chapter detailing federal, state and local employment laws that define, among other things, the terms and conditions of employment, employee representation and industrial relations, and prohibited discriminatory practices.
