Harrity's three-day total of 229 was enough to edge Goulet (230) and Manchester Country Club's Beth Hallgarth, who started the day three shots behind Harrity and shot 82 to finish at 231, two shots back.

DOVER - Kori Goulet didn't have a lot to smile about during her time on the golf course Friday, but after shooting an 85 in the Seacoast Amateur Golf Championship's opening round Goulet did flash a wide grin when a young girl asked for her autograph in the Cochecho Country Club clubhouse. It provided a pleasant moment in an otherwise frustrating day for Goulet, a Rochester Country Club member who became the second female to compete in the Seacoast Am.
"I hit the ball well, I just could not get any putts to fall," Goulet
