The following Committee members were present: Chair Richard Dodderidge, Vice Chair Trudi Musselman, Kathy Kurz, Leigh Whittemore and Ex-Officio Council Member Kit McKeon.
Chair Dodderidge welcomed Mr. McKeon to the board and read the purpose of the committee and gave a brief review of the committee's year end report. Mr. Caillouette stated the city normally installs bike racks in park areas and on government property, and suggested Mr. McKeon contact the city manager. Discussion continued regarding the Beauty and the Bench program, concrete pads for bus benches, city benches in the downtown area, city liability concerns, contacting The Rialto Shopping Center regarding the placement of a bicycle rack, and Mr. McKeon contacting the city manager regarding the placement of bicycle racks on private property.
