Williams County Prosecutor Kirk E. Yosick Prosecutor Kirk was elected as the Williams County Prosecutor and commenced his term in January of 2013. Kirk moved with his family to Bryan as a young child and was raised in Williams County. Having graduated from Bryan High School in1984, Kirk attended the University of Toledo, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a major in finance. Upon graduating from University of Toledo, he accepted a position with a fortune 150 company in Toledo, Ohio. For the next nine years, Kirk held various finance and marketing positions with the company. In 1993, Kirk obtained his Masters Degree with honors from the University of Toledo, with a specialization in Business Management. He once again returned to the University of Toledo and in 1998 received his Juris Doctor, with honors. In 1998, Kirk joined the law firm then known as Gallagher, Milliken & Stelzer, Ltd. For the past 15 years, Kirk has practiced law in a variety of areas of the law including criminal, family, civil, real estate, banking law, estates, probate, personal injury, and corporate. Kirk is licensed in both state and federal courts in the states of Ohio and Indiana. Kirk is active in several professional associations and participates in the young lawyer-to-lawyer mentoring program through the Ohio Supreme Court. Kirk is the county’s chief criminal and civil attorney who prosecutes criminals in the name of the state and acts as the county’s representative in civil court. He is the legal adviser to all county and township officials. Kirk is also responsible for all cases involving juveniles, including juvenile crime, traffic violations, and neglect and abuse cases. Kirk is married to Sara (Stahl) Yosick, also of Bryan. Kirk and Sara reside in Bryan with their 3 boys, AJ, Brandon and Cory and their dog, Shadow. Kirk and his family are very active in their community and have volunteered their time to numerous civic and community organizations.
