Kimberly (Reckner) Gromada has been working in the world of technology for the past ten years.
She graduated from Methodist College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and started doing contract work for the government focusing on database and metrics analysis.
could feel the buzz being created by the dot COM world and set out to find her
place in it.
First, she would get a feel for using internal web applications to improve business capabilities at Frandata/National Cooperative Bank as their Director of Research.
Wanting more of a challenge, she began honing her skills at designing an email marketing platform with integrated tracking capabilities at Advertise.com as Director of Technical Email Operations.
While working with a client, American Red Cross HQ, on their email marketing, she
found what had been missing -- a cause!
She believed in what the Red Cross was doing and her technology passion found a partner with a humanitarian spirit.
Kimberly joined the America Red Cross's Online Fundraising Unit and immediately began working to improve their online donation system.
Managing all interactive and transactional online elements for the now 2.5 million financial constituents.
began focusing on this project and would design, present and implement one of the most flexible affiliate based technology systems in existence.
After concluding the pilot program, all Red Cross chapters had been given the opportunity to take the next step in on-line fundraising.
Kimberly's staff had grown to ten people, to manage a centralized program bringing 800 affiliates into a nationally founded online program.
Once this implementation started expanding, she
advanced so that she
could focus on the founding of Mysamaris
hope is that through Mysamaris
will be able to provide all non-profits with the same consultation and fundraising capabilities, truly making a difference in each one's cause.
