brings over sixteen years of consulting experience on a variety of geotechnical, civil, environmental and construction projects, specializing in the geotechnical and environmental design of mine waste facilities for clients worldwide.
consulting specialty is the management of large inter-disciplinary mining projects that require high levels of team coordination, cost and schedule control, and frequent interaction with decision makers.
Ms. Morrison is highly experienced with design of tailings facilities, including project management and lead designer of geotechnical components of the proposed Piñon Ridge uranium mill project in Colorado, the first new uranium mill being proposed for construction in the US in nearly 30 years.
has authored or co-authored more than 25 technical papers, with a focus on mining geotechnical topics.
Kimberly is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming and Utah, and a Registered Geologist in Missouri.
She has a B.S. in Geological Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla), and a M.S. in Civil Engineering (Geosystems) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
