'KOUSIN KIM' MAKES BIG `LIFE CHANGE': After 16 years with NBC5 Chicago
as well as 30 total years in the daily TV news business, our longtime close "cousin" Kim Vatis
will be stepping down from daily news at NBC5
to focus on family and travel, as reported this week by veteran media observer Robert Feder in his news blog.
For the past several years, Kim has been a weekday morning reporter at NBC5 and she also anchors weekend mornings, in addition to hosting the weekly "Your Money" show on personal finance.
A University of Florida alum, Kim is an avid golfer and world traveler, two things she is sure to be doing more in the coming years.
