.In this newly created position , Strohm
will develop and manage the company's overall financial communications strategies , and interface with Ingram Micro's analyst and investment community.She
will report to Jerre L. Stead , chairman and CEO of Ingram Micro
last served as an independent consultant for Nat Systems International , an application development tools vendor , based in Virginia.Prior to that , she served as an enterprise account representative of Herndon , Va.-based Computer Associates International , Inc.
.From 1988 to 1995 , Strohm worked for Herndon , Va.-based Legent Corporation , where she last served as senior director of corporate planning
.While at Legent , she managed five corporate functions , including investor relations , industry analyst relations , customer relations , corporate information centers and sales information services
.Prior to Legent , she worked for the Carnegie Group , Inc. , as manager of technical marketing from 1985 to 1987
.She began her career at American Management Systems , Inc. as a systems analyst in 1983
.Strohm earned a master's degree in business administration from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh , Penn. , and holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Duke University in Durham , N.C.
