CESC: Community Energy Services Corporation: Berkeley, CA Nonprofit Helping Bay Area Homes and Businesses To Be Energy Efficient

I found out that a former colleague, Kim Malcolm, who had worked at the CPUC when I was at the Legislature, was the director of an organization that helped low-income folks with energy efficiency and home repair, CESC.
Kim explained that CESC was involved in implementing a vast array of programs sponsored by local, state and federal governments as well as private grants and donations. Kim invited me to join the board of directors, and I have been lucky enough to continue with our current executive director, Martin Bond, serving for about five years.
