ROLL Present: Kim Laird, chair; Sandy Brown, Don Lewis, Jerry Martin, Jim Maxwell, Bob Neuman, Will Penman [joined at 8:43 p.m.] (board members); Chuck Hawley (Recording Secretary). Kim changes her vote to a no. Member Survey (Kim Laird) - The member survey is ready to go. Kim will be working with Martin to notify the membership via email. Kim discusses the new insurance policy that can be made available to IJA members for performing.

ROLL Present: Kim Laird, chair; Sandy Brown, Don Lewis, Jerry Martin, Jim Maxwell, Bob Neuman, Will Penman (board members); Chuck Hawley (Recording Secretary), Holly Greeley (Treasurer), John Satriano (Festival Director), David Davis (member), Andrew Conway (Video Coordinator), Martin Frost [joined at 8:35 p.m.] (Communications Director) Member Survey (Kim Laird) - Kim has asked David Landowne to act as the facilitator for the survey. Kim Laird- no (changed from abstain**) "Kim Laird moves for a reconsideration of the vote on item 7b from last night's meeting (May 23, 2007). The vote on item 7b remained the same for everyone except Kim who changed her vote from "abstain" to "no." Kim seconds the motion. Kim was talking with McDonald's about getting juggling props (scarves or balls) in happy meals. She is going to continue to work on this.

1. CALL TO ORDER: Kim Laird called the meeting to order at 9:52 a.m. Central Time. 2. ROLL: Present: Kim Laird, Kevin Axtell, Matt Hall, Richard Kennison, Dave Pawson, Erin Stephens, Thom Wall i. Kim Laird was nominated by Kevin Axtell and seconded by Richard Kennison. Kim accepted the nomination and nominated Kevin Axtell as vice-chair. ii. Matt Hall was nominated by Thom Wall and seconded by Kim Laird. iii. Thom Wall was nominated by Dave Pawson and seconded by Kim Laird. Motion: Kevin Axtell moves that Kim Laird be elected as IJA Board Chairman for 2011-2012. Vote: Kim Laird, Erin Stephens, Kevin Axtell, Richard Kennison, Dave Pawson, and Thom Wall all vote yes. Kim Laird, Kevin Axtell and Erin Stephens offered to match the first $500 from the YEP fund since this endeavor fits right into the YEP mission statement. Kim will then deposit the money and send the wire through MMCC.
