Annuity Think Tank, leader in annuity education, is proud to announce that Kevin Startt, ChFC, CLU, CWS, CPCU has joined the organization as Advanced Sales Consultant.
Kevin started his career as a retail advisor with industry stalwart, EF Hutton, after earning the prestigious Goldwater Political and Economic scholarship to attend Georgetown University.
After being in the top decile of production with Hutton, Kevin landed with mutual fund company, Nuveen, covering the independent channel and later became the youngest National Sales Manager of industry giant Mainstay Funds where he helped lead the New York Life subsidiary to it's first billion dollar in assets under management and the development of the industry's first Guaranteed Equity Index mutual fund.
In the 1990s, Kevin, held institutional sales positions with Franklin-Templeton and First Union Capital Management calling directly on pension consultants and plan sponsors in the $5 million to $500 million dollar ERISA market.
Later in the 1990s, Kevin
led the wholesaling forces in sales at Donaldson ,Lufkin, Jenrette(DLJ) in an array of product sales to the high net worth market including private equity and private placement life.
Later in the decade, Kevin was a top wholesaler for Deutsche Funds(DWS) pioneering the roll-out of the industry's first Euro funds to the independent B/D community and wirehouses.
For the last 12 years, Kevin was the leading wholesaler and Eastern Divisional manager for VUL/VA distributor Ameritas where he was wholesaler of the year for two consecutive years.
Kevin also was the National Sales Manager for Transamerica's broker-dealer effort to distribute the industry's first GMWB for VUL and he helped build their wholesaling team.
Prior to joining, Annuity Think Tank
was with a trillion dollar asset manager, setting up successfully the leading broker-dealer distributution effort for the company's leading FMO.
In the last five years, Kevin started and built the leading branch for a top 100 broker-dealer serving as National Principal and Recruiter.

They reside in Atlanta where they have lived for 40 years and have two children, Trevor and Lauren.
