Developer and owner Kevin Price of Hartville appeared, along with engineer Jon Vollnogle of Howells & Baird, which is inspecting the infrastructure work on behalf of the city to ensure proper completion.
Price said nine units are completed and rented out through Northwood Realty, which is handling the leasing. He's currently building nine more units which he expects to finish in the spring.
Price said he's expecting to complete that work within the next two months. Vollnogle told Planning Commission members that the report he issued regarding what's left to finish will be updated because Price has been completing items off the list, such as grading and seeding, and installing concrete sidewalks.
Price said his goal is to be working on the inside of the remaining units this winter.
Price said he expects to finish in a month or two and asked if the members had ever heard of a completion bond. He would purchase the bond and the city would be named as the insured so if anything happened and the infrastructure wasn't finished, the city would be able to use the bond to have another contractor finish the work.
Commission Chairman John Panezott told Price they want to see his project done.

Kevin Price, owner, focuses on warranty work for RV owners who may sometimes have difficulty getting it from the dealership where they made the purchase."Six weeks to fix a problem on your new RV just isn't acceptable," he explains."These customers feel that they are no longer a priority to the dealership where they bought their vehicle, so they turn elsewhere to find service. We do our warranty work by the book and have so much of it now that we had to hire someone just to oversee it all," says Price."Our goal is to save customers and make new ones, and that's exactly what we've been doing," he adds.
What does Price feel Priority One's impact has been on his dealership?
