Teeth in an Hour | Dental Implants Raleigh North Carolina

Kevin Neshat, DDS,MD
1. All patients that are interested in the Teeth-in-an-Hour™ procedure will have the initial consultation with Dr. Neshat. At that time, Dr. Neshat will thoroughly explain the Teeth-in-an-Hour™ concept and process. He will also discuss the cost at that time. 3. After the CT Scan Guide has been fabricated by our local lab, it will be sent to Dr. Neshat. The Patient Care Administrator will contact the patient to schedule an appointment with Dr. Neshat. 4. When the patient returns to our office, we will take two CT scans. The first CT scan will be of the patient with their new CT Scan Guide in their mouth. The second CT scan will be taken of the new CT Scan Guide by itself. At this time, the patient's work is done. Now it is time for Dr. Neshat to go to work. Phase 2: Planning 1. Dr. Neshat will transfer both of the patient's CT scans into the Procera® software where he will then begin to virtually place the dental implants. After all of the implants have been placed, Dr. Neshat will create a virtual stent called a NobelGuide™. 2. The Swedish lab will fabricate the NobelGuide™ stent and return it to Dr. Neshat's office. The stent will serve as the template to guide Dr. Neshat when he performs the actual placement of the dental implants. In most cases, IV sedation and local anesthesia are administered to the patient by Dr. Neshat prior to the surgical procedure. K. Kevin Neshat, DDS,MD

Ball-and-Socket Overdenture - Dental Implants - Oral Surgeon Raleigh North Carolina (NC) Dental Implants Wisdom Teeth at nuimageimplants.com Nu Image Dental Implant Center

www.ncimplant.com [cached]

Kevin Neshat, DDS,MD
Through Dr. Neshat's experience, he has determined that placement 4 or 6 dental implants in the upper jaw are often necessary in order to provide optimum stability and security of the overdenture. If you are interested in having an overdenture placed in your upper jaw, information is available on the Bar-and-Clip Overdenture page. How it Works The first step in the placement of the Ball-and-Socket overdenture is to make an appointment for an initial consultation and oral examination with Dr. Neshat. He will evaluate your current oral health and the condition of the bone into which the dental implants will be placed. In order for Dr. Neshat to accurately assess the amount of bone present in your jaw, it may be necessary for you to have a CT scan taken. At that time, Dr. Neshat will determine your diagnosis and explain the treatment options that are available to you. After Dr. Neshat determines that you are a candidate for the Ball-and-Socket overdenture, we will schedule you for placement of the dental implants. (For an explanation of the actual surgical procedure, please see The Day of Your Surgery: What You Can Expect page.) After the dental implants are placed, Dr. Neshat will place a small suture over each implant to protect the implant during the healing phase. K. Kevin Neshat, DDS,MD
