KEVIN J. DELOATCH, ESQ.
Mr. Deloatch has extensive experience prosecuting claims against stock brokers and broker-dealers on behalf of investors. Mr. Deloatch draws on the experience he has amassed while having been in the financial and securities industry over the past 20 years. In 1991, Mr. Deloatch obtained his series 7 and 63 securities licenses while at Lehman Brothers where he worked as a broker. In 1993, Mr. Deloatch left Lehman Brothers to work for Citigroup as a broker. While at Citigroup, Mr. Deloatch trained new brokers on firm policy and various financial products including equity instruments, debt instruments, mutual funds, options and margin. While at Citigroup he attended Rutgers University School of Law and obtained his JD in 1999. After law school Mr. Deloatch started his legal career as in-house counsel at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 1999. While at Morgan Stanley he defended the firm in numerous matters including arbitrations and regulatory inquiries involving various financial products and sales practices. Mr. Deloatch continued his legal career at a major law firm where he defended stock brokers and broker-dealers in FINRA arbitrations and investigations brought by various state and securities industry regulators. In 2005, Mr. Deloatch entered private practice, concentrating on representing investors and broker-dealers in FINRA and NFA arbitration. Mr. Deloatch is currently admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York, the United States District Court of the Eastern District of New York and the United States District Court of the Southern District of New York.
