...
Educated at Audenshaw Grammar School, David now living in Heaton Mersey, Stockport and Kevin, from Ashton, became inseparable, sharing all their school experiences, studies, sports, holidays and later becoming prefects together.
...
When I mentioned to Kevin that I was thinking of going into law, he decided to pursue the same career. At that point, we both resolved to apply to university to read law, although neither of us hand any family background in the profession."
Kevin said: "Even the best laid plans go awry.
...
After being admitted as a solicitor, Kevin was approached by Rupert Wood & Son and offered a partnership to return home to Ashton. Within two weeks a further vacancy arose and Kevin persuaded Rupert Wood and his some Mike to interview David.
...
Similarly, Kevin has been Chair of Tameside & Glossop Acute Services NHS Trust for the last two years.
Although family commitments and personal interests have somewhat curtailed their time together, David and Kevin still take the opportunity to indulge in a different type of brief encounter reminiscing with old school friends at their reunions.
