Kevin said: "Even the best laid plans go awry.

After being admitted as a solicitor, Kevin was approached by Rupert Wood & Son and offered a partnership to return home to Ashton. Within two weeks a further vacancy arose and Kevin persuaded Rupert Wood and his some Mike to interview David.

Similarly, Kevin has been Chair of Tameside & Glossop Acute Services NHS Trust for the last two years.
Although family commitments and personal interests have somewhat curtailed their time together, David and Kevin still take the opportunity to indulge in a different type of brief encounter reminiscing with old school friends at their reunions.
