Dr. Kenton T. Wilkinson
Dr. Kenton T. Wilkinson is the Regents Professor in Hispanic and International Communication at Texas Tech University. His academic training includes an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Radio-Television-Film with an emphasis in international communication, with specialization in Spanish- and Portuguese-language television in the Americas. He is currently the director of the Institute for Hispanic and International Communication at Texas Tech University. His exemplary teaching has been recognized - in 2010, he was inducted into Texas Tech University’s Teaching Academy, and in 2009, he was awarded the President’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
