has also litigated numerous personal injury and wrongful death claims, including product liability and legal malpractice cases.He has served on the boards of directors of several corporations, including financial institutions, and has also acted as counsel to numerous business entities and individuals with respect to their commercial interests.He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Quarter Horse Association, and a former Chairman of the Racing Committee of the Intermountain Quarter Horse Association and has had extensive experience in litigating claims and representing clients involved in the equine industry.He has also been general counsel to a major real estate developer and involved in litigating real estate issues and otherwise representing clients in substantial real estate transactions, both domestically and internationally.He
is admitted to practice in federal and state courts, including the United States Supreme Court
, and has appeared in numerous administrative proceedings and formal mediations.He is also a past president of the American Inn of Court.Kent was born in Utah in 1934, and received a B.S. degree from the University of Utah in 1958, and a J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1961.He was a JAG officer in the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1965.
