Kent Hippolyte is St. Lucia's latest Consul General, to be based at the newly opened consulate in Miami, USA.
Originally from Castries, Hippolyte obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Drew University in New Jersey, and a masters of science in Operations Research from the University of Waterloo in Canada. During the past twenty years, Hippolyte has been a manager of AT&T/Lucent Technologies, representing the company in Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Venezuela, and on the greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
Hippolyte has also served as chairman of the International Trade group on the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce.
