Kenneth Alan Taylor
has worked in subsidised repertory theatre all over the U.K.
had a long association with Oldham Coliseum
as an actor and Director he
appeared in over 300 productions at this theatre.
also directed several Commercial tours including "And Then There Were None" "Misery" "House of "Stairs" etc. plus "One Night Stand" and also "And Then There Were None" in the West End.
He was twice Chief Executive of Oldham Coliseum.
During this period he
was awarded The Manchester Evening News Award for "Best Production for "A Different Way Home" by Jimmy Chinn.
is also a recipient of the Horniman Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Theatre".
In 1974 he was appointed as Director of Nottingham Playhouse where he introduced traditional family pantomime.
This year he
will write and direct his
28th consecutive pantomime at the Playhouse.
