The move marks another shift in UBS staff to Credit Suisse in Asia-Pacific, following the move made by Min Park and Ken Pang to co-head the group at Credit Suisse in June 2009.
Park and Pang are based in Hong Kong and report to Osama Abbasi, head of Asia-Pacific equities. Park and Pang were previously UBS's co-heads of Asian equity derivatives.

Hong Kong, June 4, 2009 Credit Suisse today announced that Ken Pang and Min Park joined the Bank as Co-Heads of Equity Derivatives and Convertibles, Asia Pacific. The appointments of Mr Pang and Mr Park, who previously led the Asian Equity Derivatives business at UBS, demonstrate Credit Suisse's commitment to building a leading Equity Derivatives franchise in the region for the Bank's investing and corporate clients. Their arrival will also enable Credit Suisse to bring its Equity Derivatives and Convertibles businesses closer together in order to capitalize on the Bank's sales, structuring, trading and management strengths. Mr Pang and Mr Park will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Osama Abbasi, Head of Equities, Asia Pacific. Mr Pang joins as a Managing Director and Head of Equity Derivatives and Convertibles Trading, Asia Pacific. He will lead the entire Derivatives and Convertibles product platform and take responsibility for trading, risk management and infrastructure development. He previously ran Equity Derivatives trading for Non-Japan Asia at UBS. Mr Pang holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr Park also joins as a Managing Director and as Head of Equity Derivatives and Convertibles Sales, Asia Pacific. He will oversee all Derivatives and Convertibles sales, distribution and structuring functions. Mr Park was previously Head of all Derivatives Sales for Non-Japan Asia at UBS, where he worked alongside Mr Pang's trading team. Before joining UBS, Mr Park held a range of Equity Derivatives marketing and structuring positions with Merrill Lynch and Bankers Trust in Hong Kong and Seoul. He holds an MBA from Washington University.

Lee had occupied the role for about a year following the departure of Min Park, who himself quit in March 2009, alongside Kenneth Pang, head of equity derivatives trading, Asia ex-Japan.
