Mr. Hosfeld previously served as Executive Vice President at Interlink Global Corp. starting in April 2005, where he held a number of critical positions, including "Network Architect" for the company's nationwide microwave telephone and switching network in Venezuela, as well as leading the company's marketing and sales divisions. Mr. Hosfeld has over twenty-two years of international sales, marketing, business development, and management experience in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining Interlink, Mr. Hosfeld co-founded NetExpress, a technology company where he gained invaluable experience in the "Voice Over Internet Protocol" (VOIP) field. Prior to co-founding NetExpress, Mr. Hosfeld served as the Regional Director of Brazil, the Andinos, and the Caribbean for Tellabs, Inc., a global supplier to the telecommunications industry that designs, manufactures, markets and services, voice, data and video transportation tools and networks. At Tellabs, Mr. Hosfeld secured its first "turn-key" contract which involved a complete, fully-managed network deployment including all products and services, as well as project financing. He also opened Tellabs' offices in Brazil and regularly exceeded revenue targets. He was Vice President of Nera Latin America, a subsidiary of Nera Telecommunications (formerly ABB). At Nera Latin America, Mr. Hosfeld had full production, logistic, and sales responsibility for the Latin American region, including responsibilities for opening offices throughout Latin America, including such countries as Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela. Mr. Hosfeld was also able to penetrate the Mexican and Chilean markets. Prior to joining Nera Latin, Mr. Hosfeld was responsible for similar product sales and service for the ABB Group (NYSE: ABB) in China and Africa.
